“Ein Al Loza” branch of Madaa Creative Center in the town of Silwan organized awareness events related to the fall season, in which 30 children participated.
The events included a seminar during which Madaa staff had a discussion with the children about the phenomenon of autumn as well as the diseases accompanied by this weather, and ways to avoid them especially the “flu”. Children were introduced to the fruits and vegetables grown in the fall, and to the olive picking season.
After the discussion with the children, they drew paintings expressing their vision of autumn and they painted a group picture of the olive tree.
Also the topic of olive harvest season was discussed and thebenefits of olives; the children made a painting of olive trees.
