Madaa Creative Center commemorates the first half of the month of Ramadan with a series of events

Madaa Creative Center - Silwan celebrates the holy month of Ramadan with a series of
awareness and psychological activities for children and women.

The staff discussed with the children at the beginning of the month the importance of the holy
month of Ramadan and the benefits of fasting in order to prepare them psychologically for the
holy month, and to make them more receptive and ready for it.
Where this month reminds us of the poor and needy around the world and teaches us patience
and urges us to give charity and do good deeds.
In the three branches of the center during the holy month, the children carried out various artistic
activities where recycled empty bottles and turned them into beautiful lanterns to decorate the
walls as well as colored ribbons and some handicrafts.

The children of Madaa center at Batn Al Hawa branch have cleaned their neighborhood with the
help of the center’s staff and foreign volunteers.

Because women are an integral part of the Madaa Center's interest, the Center opened a course
for making Ramadan lanterns as part of the handcraft training, to coincide with the Holy Month
of Ramadan.
In the upcoming days, the Center will organize several activities for all groups, such as Ramadan
evenings, competitions, games, events and more.
